Sure, the headline may seem a little far fetched for a webinar promotion but what if it wasn’t. NEXUS4change is committed to bringing together people who value collaboration and address critical issues. Our upcoming webinar is the perfect fit for addressing those criteria. Join us for this excellent session that outlines the issue of human trafficking, introduces an organization in Chicago that wants to lead the way in decreasing trafficking, and highlights a new book that will help folks have better meetings. Here are the logistics and link to register:
Let’s Stop Meeting Like This: A Book Launch Webinar Dedicated to Decreasing Human Trafficking
Wed August 6th, 2014
12:00pm – 1:00pm EST
Participants will hear from the authors directly about their process for creating the book, their learnings from feedback, and their efforts to help support the work of The Dreamcatcher Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to help young girls who are being trafficked to leave that life. Use this session as an opportunity to:
- Learn a tool for facilitating more productive meetings
- View compelling statistics on the issue of human trafficking
- Discuss ways to tackle this critical global issue
- Connect with others to continue the discussion and work towards action
Using the same work-design principles that transformed the mind-numbing assembly line into the dynamic factory floor and make video games so engaging, Dick and Emily Axelrod offer a flexible, repeatable process that has already been used to run thousands of productive meetings in all kinds of organizations. This session will be sure to connect all of you to this issue and convene a discussion that leads toward more productive meetings.
Please register at the link above even if you cannot attend. NEXUS4change will still send you a recording of the session and information for supporting the Axelrod Group and The Dreamcatcher Foundation.
